The successful completion of the relevant SIRA training course is a pre-requisite for assessing permanent impairment in both the NSW Workers compensation and Motor accident schemes.

How to complete my training

You must meet the
Eligibility Criteria,
complete the Core Module
and at least one of the
Specialty Modules.

Select Program

We deliver the SIRA NSW permanent impairment assessment training program for: Motor Accident (CTP)
and Workers compensation

Check eligibility

Check general criteria, specific for each program.

Complete Core Module

Choose and complete the core module. No competency assessment is required. For Instructor-Led modules workshop attendance is mandatory.

Complete Specialty Module(s)

To prepare for each module, be sure to complete all pre-training activities, read the relevant chapters (SIRA Guidelines and AMA Guides) and documentation provided. If you are participating in an Instructor-Led module workshop, attendance is mandatory.

Submit competency-based assessment

Complete your assessment task. Submission must be within 4 weeks after registration. There is no assessment for Core module.

Download your certificates

You will be able to download your certificates once your assessment has been marked as competent.
